Ok, so now that I am out of Game of Thrones to watch (until Jeff catches up and I can finally start on season 3), I have been getting creative trying to find other things to curb my boredom.
So, to Netflix I go. As you already might have seen I decided to watch Hungry for Change. Then I went straight to my Facebook to talk about watching that documentary, and someone recommended I watch Fat Sick & Nearly Dead. Ummmm, well if that doesn’t inspire you to start juicing, or even just change what you are eating to something healthier, then I don’t know what will.
I may or may not have bought a juicer before the documentary was even over. Ok, just kidding, I DID buy a juicer before it was even over. Whatever. I decided to purchase one that was a little cheaper, but had really good reviews. I bought the Black & Decker JE2200 400-Watt Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor. From what I read, people said to just get one that was a little more expensive but yields better juice. Well, I cheaped out, but it might be ok. I’ll let you know. From what other people said, I think I just need to be careful with it and make sure i cut my produce up well. That’s cool, I can do that.
So why Juicing? Well, they talk a big talk. I want to feel better, I want my skin to clear up. Weight loss is an added bonus, but mostly I want more energy.
So, let’s see how this goes. I’ll try to post regularly once I start this experiment. I still have to do some homework as to which cleanse I am going to do, and pick a day to start. It may not be until the first of the month, because that’s when i get my dolla dolla bills, ya’ll.
