Staying motivated is always a struggle for me. Sometimes this whole thing is too much, and you are grasping at straws just to keep going. Despite my heart-felt post the other day, I do love using clothes as my motivation. I think the Pinterest board I have filled the most is in fact my clothes board.
Back when I was in a place where I could wear whatever I wanted, I didn’t really know what I was doing, and dressed a little sloppy to say the least (hooray for being raised by a man – love you dad). However, these days, I lay in bed sometimes and think about all the great clothes I’m going to purchase. Don’t get me wrong… I purchase a lot of clothes now, but I am limited to places that sell plus sized clothes, and lets be honest, a lot of the stuff shown above isn’t as …. flattering on a fluffier shape. (Also, apparently I am not interested in pants…) There is only so many things a girl can buy at Old Navy and Target!
So to keep me going, I think about cute clothes… I mean, not always. Many times I think of doing more strenuous activities with my friends, being more confident, not having a heart attack or high blood pressure. MANY times though it’s cute dresses that keep me going on that stationary bike in cycle class… To each his (or her) own, I guess.
