Having Some Support

support

As you can probably tell from the last couple of posts, I am finally having my first real honest-to-goodness breakdown. Crying in my cubicle this morning because of all the fear running through my head, I had but one place to turn. A friend.

I am so LUCKY to have many friends that are willing to help me along this journey, and I am sure I’ll be calling them out from time to time. This morning, however, it was my friend Michelle that came to save the day…

Having lost about 60 lbs herself (obviously, she is a rock star), she is well aware of how hard this really can be. I mean, she is going through all of this herself! I’ll go ahead and show you the conversation we had today (excuse the typos, I was typing very quickly):

Michelle makes me feel better :) It’s good to have friends that make you feel better. Rereading this, I look like such a whiney drama queen! Talk about #firstworldproblems. But still, they are my problems, and they are real. Well, I hope that sharing this can help other people not feel alone.

Here’s to another day!
